Your tasks
- Lead the conceptual design, specification, and implementation of flight control functions within redundant system architectures, including:
- Redundancy management and state synchronization
- Development of voting algorithms
- Design and implementation of state charts
- Develop and implement state charts and decision logic for key operational areas such as:
- Automation logic for vehicle systems (e.g., cockpit controls, power systems)
- Mission management, including waypoint navigation and database selection
- Flight planning algorithms
- Mode interaction between the aircraft and ground control station
- Define and execute functional test cases across various testing environments:
- Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) using Matlab/Simulink
- Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) and Aircraft-in-the-Loop (AiL) setups
- Real-world flight testing
- Ensure comprehensive documentation and traceability of test cases and results
Your skills and profile
- Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Extensive experience (5+ years) working with redundant systems in safety-critical environments
- Proficient in Matlab, Simulink, and Stateflow for modeling and simulation
- Solid understanding of flight dynamics and flight operations (preferred)
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, and JavaScript (a plus)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player
- Deep passion for aviation and innovative aerial mobility solutions
- Willingness to travel as required to support project activities
- Holder of a valid Class B driver’s license
- Business fluent in English, both written and spoken
